In anticipation of the 2024 Subscribed Live hybrid event that reaches thousands of patrons and navigates the complexities of an always-evolving market landscape and changing consumer expectations, Zuora turned to Best.Day.Ever. once again to create an event-filled night where its key stakeholders, industry-leading speakers, and customer executives have an opportunity to connect and network before the larger function the next day.
Best.Day.Ever. rose to the occasion and provided an action-packed night at the Ciel Creative Spaces in Berkeley, CA. The night featured two Emmy-award-winning celebrities: Mixologist Rob Floyd and Chef Ryan Scott, providing an entertaining and informative live culinary demonstration for those in attendance.

The Details
- Venue: Best.Day.Ever. utilized the chosen Subscribed Live venue, Ciel Creative Spaces in Berkeley, CA, which provided an optimal communal atmosphere for guests to network and connect with one another. The blank canvas studio space was transformed into a working kitchen, speakeasy bar, elegant dining room and a performance area for both of the live demos.
- Talent: Best.Day.Ever. also utilized its connections to procure two featured celebrities who provided a first-class experience and live demonstrations for guests in attendance. Ryan Scott and his team at Ryan Scott 2Go, provided a mouthwatering, multi-course meal and an entertaining demo of one of his signature recipes. Rob Floyd followed up with an electrifying mixology performance where he walked the crowd through four custom cocktails, his proprietary “whip-shots”, and even got select guests on their feet for a “shake-off”. The grand finale incorporated liquid nitrogen to truly wow all the attendees.
- Branded Touchpoints: Continuing to provide a turnkey guest experience, Best.Day.Ever. also provided branded Zuora touchpoints throughout the event. From nametags and lanyards to branded menus, Best.Day.Ever. ensured that even the minor details were thought of and that Zuora’s brand was at the forefront throughout the event space.
The Outcome
First, a cocktail hour opened the night with one of the four custom cocktails designed by celebrity mixologist Rob Floyd. The cocktail hour provided a set time for guests to network, find their table settings, and receive their branded name badges before the meal.
Celebrity chef Ryan Scott then provided a live, on-site culinary demo of one of his signature recipes while his team prepared the multiple-course meal in the on-site mobile kitchen, where guests could watch the entire, delicious process.
Finally, Rob Floyd performed a mixology demo including how to make four custom cocktails. The presentation included an interactive liquid nitrogen finale that engaged the crowd and exciting audience “shake-offs” and “whip-shots” throughout.
