First up, meet Kaylee Halbert. She came to BDE in June of 2022 and is already making a significant impact for us as our operations coordinator. She is there to assist our staff in all capacities, wearing many hats and always ready to jump in anywhere to help our clients drive returns. She assists in creating hospitality events, hosts clients in luxury suites during NFL season, and has the most important task this year— planning the company Christmas party.
Let’s get to know more about Kaylee in her own words—
What is your favorite part of working at BDE?
My favorite part of working with BDE so far is the experiences I have had at a young age. This company has allowed me to grow as a person and an employee so I can succeed in my future endeavors. I have created wonderful relationships with everyone at BDE, and I am thankful everyday that this position crossed my path.
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
I am most proud of the way I have grown in this position. I go to work excited about the things I get to do and create while I’m there. I have improved on skills that were out of my comfort zone when I started, and I know that will benefit me greatly in the future.
Who is your favorite athlete, and why?
I would have to say my favorite athlete is Alex Bregman. I like Jeremy Peña as well. The Astros are my favorite sports team to watch. I thought it was special for the Astros to win the World Series for Houston after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The team is filled with humility, and I admire that.
What is the last song you listened to?
Bejeweled by Taylor Swift. I am always listening to Taylor Swift.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I would love to travel to Paris, France. I think it’s important to see different parts of the world while we have time!
What are three words that best describe you?
Focused, motivated, compassionate.
What is a piece of advice you’ve received that stuck with you?
Find the joy in the struggle. We will all go through tough times in life, but being strong enough to appreciate the small things will help you get through them.
